Join me on a 900km journey across France and Spain, walking the ancient Camino de Santiago. Pilgrim's Path is a 24-minute cinematic reflection on my pilgrimage from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in France, across the mountains, villages, and plains of Spain, to Santiago de Compostela and then onwards another 100km to Finisterre, “the end of the world.” I hope this film gives you a glimpse into the beauty and the journey of the Way. Captured with my vintage Asahi Pentax lenses. What is the Camino de Santiago? The Camino de Santiago is an ancient network of pilgrimage routes that have been walked for over a thousand years. Pilgrims from all around the world travel across diverse landscapes from the Pyrenees in France, through Spanish villages, forests, and the wide plains of the Meseta. All routes eventually lead to the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain, where the remains of St. James are said to rest.
