Hey there neighbor, it's Kevin here with etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay Type One T With Hose. So this T is going to allow you to stay at that camp site a lot longer and not have to make the trip into a gas station so you can swap out a tank bottle because this is going to allow you to hook up your auxiliary tank so that way you can feed your trailer's propane system and run all of your appliances that are inside of your trailer with that auxiliary tank, which, super useful if you're one of those people that's trying to get a larger hundred pound tank out in front of your permanent RV campsite. Along with that, it's also going to allow you to hook up an unregulated line over to your regulated appliance so that way if you aren't wanting to carry that auxiliary tank and you wanna be able to cook with your cooktop outside of your trailer but still use your trailer's propane system, you'd be able to easily hook up a hose to the T and do so. Now what you're gonna get with this kit is going to be the T itself, which is going to connect with that type one fitting to your tank on your RV system, and then also for running out to your RV supply line here. And then it's also going to have the hose that we have running to our auxiliary tank, which is gonna have that POL fitting and then a quarter inch inverted flare fitting on its connection type to the T itself. Now it will not come with the accessory hose, which we have here. This is a type one fitting that's on our T. Now the other fitting type can vary depending on what appliance you have, but make, once again, making sure that that appliance has a regulator on it or that you're picking up a hose that has a built-in regulator with it. Installation of this T is going to be something you can do in just a matter of seconds. All you're gonna need is an adjustable wrench and then just a spray bottle with some soapy water so that way you can leak test your T and make sure that everything is nice and safe. Now with it having the two type one fittings, it's super simple for you to easily just screw this on with your hands and then the hose is gonna be the only thing where you might need the tool. The connection to the auxiliary tank is gonna be the one where you want that adjustable wrench for, but for the most part, a lot of the type one fittings are all gonna have a nice handle for you to just grab onto and just twist that on without anything special. So like I said, this install should only take you just a couple seconds, but if propane is something that scares you and you just don't feel comfortable messing with the system and you wanna get it done somewhere so that way you don't have to deal with the hassle, please feel free to use our dealer locator and you can enter your zip code to find a shop near you and get it professionally installed. If you are wanting to do this yourself, then stick around and I'll walk you through the process. To begin our install, the first thing we wanna do is first turn off our gas tank bottles, make sure both are fully closed. Next thing we wanna do, we can go on the inside and then we're just gonna bleed the line here by turning on the gas oven. If you have anything else in there that's running off propane, your furnace, just turning on the stove, that's gonna be an easy way for you to just easily bleed those lines out and have us be nice and safe. Once you bled the lines, you can then come over. We'll take one of our tanks off. Now obviously you're gonna wanna make sure that whichever one you're using is full for your T 'cause this is not gonna work with our system how we have it here with our dual regulator. Next, we'll grab our T and we can just thread this right back on. This is going to be our outlet to our appliance here, so you might wanna kind of position that to where it's gonna be best for your hose. So before I fully tighten that down, I'm gonna kind of turn that up just because of the tank that we're using in the side that we're gonna be facing here. And I'll finish tightening that down. We can come back up with our pigtail hose. Make sure that's nice and tight. And now we're ready to grab our line for our auxiliary tank, which would come in right here with our quarter inch inverted flare fitting here. If I can get that off, I might need a wrench here. There we go. (wrench thuds) We would pop t
