NAMPA: WHK City Police arrests "Corolla Gang" 05 MARCH 2014

WINDHOEK, 25 APRIL (NAMPA) - The Windhoek City Police arrested the "Corolla Gang" after the group of five carried out several armed robberies in Windhoek. The five suspects are all connected to various robberies after the victims identified the blue Toyota Corolla with tainted windows. The gang's recent robbery was during broad day light in the Avis residential area on Friday morning. The car was spotted in the Goreangab settlement west of Windhoek, and upon investigation the CP made a break through and arrested all five suspects. Chief Abraham Kanime was at the scene shortly after the vehicle crashed into a shack after trying to flee from the CP. Three shots were fired to force the driver to stop.
