Have you done everything yet you still ask yourself, how do I fix old compacted soil? If you're like me I had heavy clay soil that held onto water and killed my plants! I was able to break down old compacted soil while amending the clumps of clay with this one product! If you're having any or all of these problems then the steps in this video will fix your soil! Here is the soil conditioner I used: https://www.kellogggarden.com/product... You will use a ratio of one 3cu ft bag of conditioner mixed with 1/3 bag of chicken manure. This will cover a 10f by 10f radius; at a depth of two inches. If your soil is REALLY bad then you may want to double or even triple the amount you use. It's also okay to have the soil sit high in the garden bed because after a while it will slowly compact.
