This is the best of Derry Londonderry segment of DIY Destinations - Ireland & The Emerald Isle. The host Charles Huang will travel to Northern Ireland's second largest city to visit some of it's free attractions and showcase it's history, including it's City Hall "Guildhall" and it's famous stained glasses, the historic Derry City Wall and the collection of canons previous used for the siege and gates. As well many churches within, including the St Columb's Cathedral, St Augustine's Church, First Presbyterian Church and the famous Free Derry Wall, and the history behind it. Lastly, symbol of unity and modern day peace, the Peace Bridge connecting the unionist 'Waterside' on the east bank with the largely nationalist 'Cityside' on the west bank. Finally, the Ebrington Square, a historic military parade ground and the St Columb's Park. The host will showcase many inexpensive food options.
