11/18/2018: Up for sale is a 2003 American Ironhorse Texas Chopper Custom Softail Motorcycle with 21,282 WELL CARED FOR MILES! The Texas Chopper offers the outstanding looks of a Hard-Tail Chopper, but rides like a dream with the equipped Soft-Tail Suspension. This bike is EXTREMELY comfortable to ride! This bike is in GREAT CONDITION and has clearly been taken care of over the course of its life. The Highly Desirable Beautiful Metallic Dark Green Paint Job is absolutely beautiful! There is Chrome & Polished Billet everywhere on this bike. The bike is equipped with the Very Powerful Carbureted 107 Cubic Inch 1,762 CC S&S V-Twin Motor, Six Speed Transmission, Polished Billet Wheels, Dual Front Disc Brakes, ETC... This bike has PLENTY OF POWER! It is equipped with a Custom Martin Brothers Exhaust System that sounds & looks absolutely amazing! The bike is equipped with the following options: Rear Passenger Pegs, Custom Air Intake, Custom Tribal Mirrors, Martin Brothers Exhaust System, ETC... It is equipped with a 21" rim up front & an 18" rim in the rear mounted on a HUGE 240 mm tire that looks absolutely outstanding. This chopper was nearly $40k when brand new. The chopper is located in Syracuse, Utah which is 30 miles North of Salt Lake City, Utah. This Texas Chopper is in Great Condition! I would rate the condition of the motorcycle at a 9.0 out of a 10! Definitely an eye catching American Ironhorse and is extremely unique! I haven't seen any like this one! The Highly Desirable Beautiful Metallic Dark Green Paint Job is in great condition! The under carriage of the frame has some scrapes & blemishes from entering a driveway. These types of semi-custom choppers sit so low to the ground. It is nearly impossible to prevent this from happening. The bike has some surface scratches throughout the paint from being used & dusted off with a dust cloth throughout the years. The rear fender has been custom cut & modified. This has caused some spider/stress cracks in the paint on both the left & right hand side of the fender. There are approximately 10 stress cracks on each side of the rear fender. There is also a 1" scratch on the right hand side of the rear fender. The gas tank has a few surface scratches throughout the tank. There is an approximate 1" light scratch towards the bottom center of the gas tank where it meets up with the seat. There is also one 3/4" light scratch to the left side of the gas cap lid. There is a series of scuffs approximately 3/4" in diameter on the front right side of the gas tank from the brake cables rubbing. There is approximately a 1" in diameter light dent on the front left side of the gas tank. There are a series of light scratches on the rear side edge of the front fender. There is also a series of scuffs approximately 1" in length on the top edge of the front fender. The polished billet throughout the bike is in great shape. The motorcycle was just professionally detailed! Which included all of the polished billet being buffed & polished! The motorcycle has been converted from a belt drive to a chain drive. The chain guard has some peeling chrome. This piece could be re-chromed rather easily. The headlight casing has some very light surface scratches from being dusted off with a dust cloth. The front turn signal lights have been shaved & removed from the motorcycle to improve the appearance of the motorcycle. The tachometer LED's do function, but the reading is off. It reads higher than what the motor is revving at. The rear Dunlop tire is near new & has approximately 90% tread remaining. The front Metzeler tire has approximately 35% tread remaining. The bike comes with one key. I just want to make sure I disclose as much as possible. The bike runs great and is an absolute blast to ride! You won't be disappointed!
