Chief Conductor Mark Wigglesworth chats with Martin Handley and our Digital Team ahead of our season opener on 1 October. We are delighted to be performing works by Dani Howard, our Celebrated Composer, including the UK premiere of her Saxophone Concerto with Jess Gillam. The concerto was a joint commission by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. British baritone Roderick Williams, one of the finest artists of his generation, will join us as this season’s Artist-in-Residence.
