Renegade Platinum Version 1.3.0 by Drayano, played with Following Pokemon Patch. Pokemon Renegade Platinum is a ROM hack of Pokemon Platinum. It utilizes a lot of the graphical and sound capabilities from the game. There are some changes and additions like any good ROM hack does. It is a retelling of Pokemon Platinum but with a lot of newer features. Story The game pretty much has the same story as Pokemon Platinum. There aren’t any changes in how the story flows. The only difference is that some characters and trainers have been altered but the story remains the same. The Pokemon roster is bigger and the lineup includes those until Generation VI. The Fairy-type is also included in the game. All the Pokemon in Renegade Platinum have their types and stats updated until Generation VI. This means that those that recently got secondary types or the Fairy-type will have it in the game. It also means that there are added moves and several TMs have been altered and updated. Pokemon evolutions can be easily done in the game as level requirements have been reduced. You also don’t need to trade Pokemon to evolve them which is always a welcome idea. Several item prices have been dropped. New items have also been added to the game that functions as evolution catalysts or just something that you can use in the game. The item placements in the game have also been altered but not all. When you progress the story, there are still key items that you can get from the exact same people but there are others that have been changed. When it comes to the special trainer battles as well as Gym Leaders, they have become a bit harder. It isn’t harder up to a point where the game is bad, it is a bit more challenging which makes it a bit more fun. There are also changes to some of the NPCs and Pokemon spawn locations. Considering that there are more Pokemon, several have been added in some areas when you play Pokemon Renegade Platinum.
