The Severn Valley Railway held their annual spring steam gala this April and with it came the likes of LBSCR Terrier "Fenchurch" from the bluebell, Pannier tank No. 1369 from the South Devon and the 'Lambton Tank' no. 29 coming from the NYMR. (To the surprise of no-one, Betton Grange dropped out). Alongside these visitors, the home fleet were in fine form. Standouts being the Stanier Mogul 2-6-0 No. 13268 in its remarkably smart new LMS Lined livery and a surprise return to service for the weekend for West Country Class No. 34027 "Taw Valley", still in her wartime black. (and also not featured in the video, but worth mentioning!) Anyway enough yapping, hope you enjoy the video. Tried to salvage what I can from the typical Severn Valley weather freakshow, hence the inconsistent lighting I’m sorry can’t do much about the sun. All shots taken at Eardington and Highley Locomotives Featured GWR 1366 Class No. 1369 (Visiting from the South Devon) Lambton Colliery No. 29 (Visiting from the NYMR) LSBCR A1 Class Terrier No. 72 "Fenchurch" (Visiting from the Bluebell) GWR 7800 'Manor' 7812 "Erlestoke Manor" LMS Stanier Mogul No. 13268 BR Standard 4MT No. 75069 4930 and 21C127 were at the gala but not featured in this video. Also, consider giving me a subscribe whilst you're here. Apparently 97.3% of you who watch aren't subscribed.... according to YouTube at least. So thanks and see you soon?
