Today we get a chance to visit a 150-year-old, five-generation family business cake and pastry factory in Taoyuan city known as Kuo Yuan Ye Museum. It is not just like an ordinary bakery; the design of the bakery is ancient Chinese style. The bakery has a Museum which shows the history of this bakery and also the history of the Taiwan lifestyle, it is one of the best places to visit in Taoyuan. I love to cook and baked when we reached there they warmly welcome us and in the starting, they introduce the history of the bakery then we enter inside the bakery. They teach us to make a pineapple cake which is the signature of the bakery for 150 years. They already arrange the ingredients on the table which include butter, flour, sugar, and milk. We follow the instruction and mixed them all together then they give us to mold and they suggest to make our own design. After the design, they take it for baked and until it is baked they take us to the museum where they show us the tradition and culture of Taiwan. They also show the traditional way of marriage, so I married there in the traditional way. After we visit the museum we came back and our pineapple is ready now it was time to pack. The smell of the pineapple cake is so good why because I make it myself. After that, we have some free time to visit the store where a few members buy different cakes and pastries.
