In this video we take you along on our ninth journey through Southern Africa: a remarkable five-week adventure traveling through Namibia all the way to the Western Cape. Once again, we were overwhelmed by the vast open spaces, dramatic horizons, and breathtaking landscapes that make this part of the world so unforgettable. Part 1 shows the beginning of our journey in Timbila. From there we travel through the striking Erongo region, continue into the rugged beauty of Damaraland, explore the remote and atmospheric Skeleton Coast, and experience the impressive landscapes of Naukluft National Park. This first chapter of our trip ends in the Kalahari, just before crossing the border into South Africa wher part 2 starts: The Kgalagadi.
