We start the day in Frenchman’s Cay, walking around the beautiful marina before stopping for breakfast at Omar’s Coffee House — a relaxed local spot with waterfront views. Next, we visit Smuggler’s Cove, one of the most famous beaches in Tortola. It’s absolutely stunning, but we quickly discover what it’s like when cruise ship passengers arrive — something important to know when planning your visit. After that, we take our rental car for a drive around the island and talk about what it’s like driving in Tortola (left side driving, steep hills, winding roads, and incredible views everywhere). We stop at Stoutt’s Lookout Bar for panoramic views over the British Virgin Islands — and even catch a rainbow 🌈 To end the day, we head to Brewer’s Bay, where we finally find a quieter beach experience. We grab the classic BVI cocktail, the Painkiller, at the beach bar and take a swim in the calm Caribbean water.
