Medical Statistics overview of basic principals. More Statistics and R Programming Tutorials: https://goo.gl/4vDQzT ▶︎ This video is a recorded lecture presented to the Medical Undergraduate program at The University of British Columbia (UBC) in September of 2017. ▶︎ The goal is to provide a big picture overview of some important statistical concepts. ▶︎ The focus is on understanding estimate of "effect size", precision of effect size estimates using "confidence intervals", as well as understanding a hypothesis test and a "p value".
