This demo the Behringer Super Fuzz I push this pedal past its basic settings to do a few interesting things I haven't heard covered before! This is an very affodable pedal! Available here: https://www.thomann.de/gb/behringer_s... 0.00 - Intro demo of the Super Fuzz The video begins with a brief example of the Behringer Super Fuzz SF300 played alone. 0.18 - 2.44 I describe the basics of the pedal's controls. 2.44 - 6.38 I show examples of Fuzz 1 and Fuzz 2 modes at 0% Fuzz, 50%Fuzz, and, 100% Fuzz, all played with no boost or cut on the treble/bass controls. 6.38 - end I look at the versatility of this pedal by covering a range of sounds, some familiar, some more experimental - so, if you are interested in pushing the SF 300 past basic fuzz sounds, just jump ahead to 6m 38s - I think there are some surprising tones in this second half of the demo. The Behringer Super Fuzz is a clone of the Boss FZ-2 Hyperfuzz pedal, and its a very good representation of that pedal. The Boss FZ-2, is now a much sought after pedal, reacing prices between £188 - £350 on Reverb! This alone makes the SF 300 a no-brainer for anyone introducing themselves to Fuzz or someone after the FZ-2 sound for a fraction of the price. My signal chain is deliberalty simple and unclutered, so you can hear the pedal doing the work! I am playing an 1985 Fender Strat with a Seymour Duncan SSL3 in the bridge position, and stock middle and neck position pickups. The strat is plugged directly into the SF300, which is plugged into the front end of a Boss Katana 100 watt head, set on 0.5 watt mode. I'm using the clean chanel with a little reverb - no other effects were used during any part of this demo - this is just the SF300 into a clean amp. I take a line out from the Boss Katana and plug it directly into a Zoom R8 multi-track - no extra production was carried out on the R8 - all eq is set flat and no effects are added.
