For your first project you will demonstrate 15 essential techniques and color concepts before you start painting. Please click on the "Show More" button below the About tab to show the chapter links for this video. Please feel free to skip around using the links below. Sorry for the length, this was the first video lecture and demonstration video I made. I know it's extremely long but please make sure you know the information. I don't expect you listen and remember every word I've said (although that would be great and save us both a lot of time) but I do expect you to know what you need to do when you come into class. If you didn't watch a section and I'm busy with another student I'll probably send you back to this video if I think it contains the answer to your question. If the video or the packet does not contain the answer you're looking for I will be happy to help you. The video is a starting place for discussion, work, and exploration in the classroom environment. I would also highly recommend that you just paint your color wheel or color value scale on paper or contact paper and then attach it to your poster. So many things can go wrong with your mixtures and you want to have a good sample. I did not demo this because I knew the video was getting long, and things like the color wheel are pretty evident. I could be nit-picky about the values on the color value scale not synchronizing between each color's respective scale but I'm not that particular. So long as it looks close to the packet you're fine.
