Mount Snow - Little John to Hop to Ridge (Top to Bottom Run)

Little John to Hop to Ridge is an intermediate run located at Mount Snow. The trails run from the summit of the mountain to the main base area. The run starts as Little John, a connector trail located at the top of the mountain, which has multiple trails that exit to the skier's left. One of these trails is Hop, which I took in this video. It is more narrow then a lot of the trails at Mount Snow (most are wide-open) which is one of the reasons I like this trail. Hop then merges onto Ridge, a wide-open intermediate trail which runs the rest of the way down to the base area. Mount Snow is a ski area located in West Dover, Vermont, which is located in the Southern portion of the state. Mount Snow is owned by Vail Resorts and is therefore on the Epic Pass. Since it is the closest ski area in Vermont to Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York City, Mount Snow is a very popular ski area, and can therefore often be quite busy. Mount Snow is known for being mostly intermediate groomers, which fill up the Main Face of the mountain, but it also has a nice variety of steeper trails on the North Face of the mountain, and has some of the largest terrain parks in New England, dedicating a whole area of the mountain to terrain parks, called Carinthia. In the summer, Mount Snow is home to scenic lift rides and mountain biking.
