It was a cold Spring day when I set off on a 12 mile hike in the Brecon Beacons. My hike took me past Fan y Big, Cribyn, Pen y Fan and Corn Du. The wind speed at Corn Du was at least 40mph. I wild camped at a small lake called Llyn Cwm Llwch. I modified the red label Hilleberg Soulo with 10mm black label poles which I purchased separately. This was my first wild camp in Wales. The Brecon Beacons are absolutely beautiful so I will definitely be back! Route The route is available for free on Outdoor Active.
