Art series is an initiative of Ketaki Foundation Trust to shed light on the life and work of artists. The first presentation is an audiovisual documentation on the prominent Odia artist Durga Prasad Das. He is the last pioneering painter of Shantiniketan from Odisha who promulgated all the techniques he learnt from the masters at Kalabhavan. His greatest contribution lay in the teaching of students at the Government College of Art and Craft, Khalikote, Odisha. He was a committed teacher and believed in the efficacy of Indian style and the flavour and romanticism associated with it. His works exude the distinctive charm of country life.
