Even in the sweltering summer, when you do not feel like having anything hot, everybody yearns for a cup of milky tea to boost their senses! And when that tea is perked up with flavourful and aromatic cardamom, it is all the more exciting to the taste buds. Enjoy this tea hot and fresh with your favourite savouries, over the company of good friends, and it becomes an experience to remember. Preparation Time: 5 minutes. Cooking Time: 7 minutes. Serves 2. 1½ tbsp tea leaves 2½ tbsp sugar 3 cardamom (elaichi), crushed 1 cup milk 1. Combine 1 cup of water, tea leaves, sugar and cardamom, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 minutes. While stirring occasionally. 2. Add the milk, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring occasionally. 3. Strain using a strainer and pour the tea into 2 individual cups. Serve immediately.
