XMODS - A Blast from the Past!

In today's video I've got a blast from the past. XMODS! These cars came out in 2003 and took off due to the success of the Fast and Furious franchise at the time. Every car came ready to run with a copy of "Tuner Magazine". Parts availability at the time let you upgrade the cars and trucks with a whole slew of accessories to customize the look and performance of your car. I was able to get about 15 minutes of runtime out of the two XMODS I could get working and afterwards they no longer worked at all... A comparable car in 1/28th scale that you can still purchase today is the Kyosho Mini-Z. If you want to relive the glory days with your XMOD cars you can put the bodies on a Mini-Z and enjoy the nostalgia!
