The brother said that he could not believe the claim that Shahana was hanging from a window as she is five feet tall. Bilal said that his sister had bruises on her body and that Sajad may have hanged her after killing her. The brother pointed out that there were signs of force and that the bruise on back of the neck had changed. 'The post-mortem report came on Friday. Its primary conclusion is that her death was by suicide. I do not agree with that. Investigators are doing their duty honestly and I don’t doubt that. But deaths previously attributed to suicide have been proven to be homicides. In view of all this, further tests should be carried out. The request is to check the hanging rope and the situation there, 'said the brother. He further said that Sajad's mother was also involved in the case. Bilal said his sister had told him that he had connections with people from bad background and that he was a drug addict. Bilal added that he had told Shahana several times to return home but she did not listen and she had told him that she would adjust and live with him. Meanwhile, during an inspection at the flat where Shahana and Sajad were staying, police found cannabis, MDMA and LSD stamps. Police said Sajad was intoxicated. He was running a drug business under the guise of food delivery. The young model, Shahana, was found hanging on the window railing at her residence in very suspicious circumstances on Friday afternoon. Her sudden death has raised many questions even as Shahana’s family has made allegations of assault and murder against Sajjad. After the young model was found dead at her residence, the Kerala police have taken Sajjad into custody. Meanwhile, ACP Sudarshan told the media that they have received information that the couple had a fight over some cheque, which she received for modelling. Further probe into the case is progressing.
