Our Ever After High dollhouse is coming along! This is our third room room that I've completed - this time, it's for princesses Ashlynn Ella and Briar Beauty. Because both Ashlynn and Briar have playsets (Ashlynn had the Glass Slipper Shoe Shop playset, and Briar had her Thronecoming playset), there was quite a bit of doll furniture already available to fill up their dorm room. All that was really needed was some flooring, some wallpaper, windows, curtains, and personalized touches to make the dorm room complete for Ashlynn and Briar. Below I am listing all the elements contained in their dorm room, in casey you'd like to try something similar: Ashlynn's side: Walls and floors come from a Premium Paper Collection sold by Joann Fabrics & Crafts. I bought 4 sets, but really only needed 3. Her bed I had previously made in a different video, called "Ashlynn Ella Doll Bed Remake." Ashlynn's nightstand is from her Glass Slipper Shoe Shop playset, as is her shoe shelf. Ashlynn's window frame is from Mayberry Street, and the curtain rod is a spindle with two finial caps on the end. The curtains themselves are a fabric I bought off of Etsy for her 1st bed attempt, and I had used the turquoise tassels in her 2nd bed. I also bought bird miniatures from Mayberry Street (a brand that you can find at Hobby Lobby). To personalize Ashlynn's side, I created a "framed" picture of her and Hunter by using a rectangular piece of wood as the "frame." And that's really it for Ashlynn's side. Briar's side: Briar's walls and floors: These were taken from a premium paper collection that I found at Joann Fabrics & Crafts...just look for black and fuchsia colored papers and you'll be fine. Briar Beauty's bed is in another video, called "Briar Beauty Doll Bed Remake." Check that out for more information on the bed. Briar Beauty's etagere/shelf is from her Getting Fairest doll and playset. Briar's mirror is from her Thronecoming playset, as is her silver chair and table (or desk). To make her chair a little more comfy, I hot-glued together two fabric roses. Briar's curtain rod is another spindle with finial caps glued to either end, and I also put on some dimensional rose stickers to make it more Briar-like. The curtains themselves are sheer black fabric (I used in Mira Shards' bed), sprinkled with fabric roses (that I had left over from Briar Beauty's bed). To personalize Briar's side, I cut out pictures of herself, Apple White, and Blondie Lockes and hot-glued them onto a rectangle that I had painted black to serve as a picture of herself with her two besties (or BFFAs, as they say at Ever After High). Briar & Ashlynn's carpet: To unify and harmonize the room, I took a piece of burlap from Ashlynn's paper collection, and a latticed black paper from Briar's collection, and hot-glued one on top of the other. With elements from each girl, it nicely covers up the rough edges between their two floors. Do you guys like this new dorm room for Ashlynn Ella and Briar Beauty?
