In this video, I respond to Pastor Kristian Smith’s statement that “homosexuality is a discovery.” I do not agree with that perspective, and I stand on what Scripture teaches. The Bible is clear that sin—whether sexual sin, anger, pride, lying, or anything else—is not something we “discover,” but a spiritual battle we must confront and overcome through Christ. Homosexuality, like any other sin, is not an identity to embrace but a temptation and spiritual struggle many people face. My goal in this video is not to condemn anyone, but to make sure we are guided by God’s Word, not personal opinions or cultural pressure. When pastors begin to question the authority of Scripture or teach only parts of it, they lead people away from God, not toward Him. Scriptures Used in This Video: • Romans 1:24–27 – Paul describes same-sex acts as “against nature” and a result of turning away from God. • 1 Corinthians 6:9–11 – Lists sexual sin (including homosexuality) among behaviors believers must turn from; reminds us we can be washed and changed by Jesus. • 1 Timothy 1:9–11 – Shows that homosexual practices fall under behaviors contrary to sound doctrine. • James 1:14–15 – Sin begins with temptation and desire—not “discovery.” • Galatians 5:16–17 – The flesh and Spirit battle against one another; sin is a spiritual struggle. • 2 Timothy 4:3–4 – Warns that people will follow teachers who tell them what they want to hear. • 2 Timothy 3:16–17 – All Scripture is God-breathed—meaning we don’t get to pick and choose parts we like. • Jude 1:4 – Warns against leaders who twist God’s grace and lead others into sin. My heart is to point people back to Christ with love, truth, and biblical clarity. God calls us out of sin, not to redefine it. And as believers, we must stay rooted in the Word—all of it, not just the parts that feel comfortable. #christianvideos #bible #pastor #biblicaltruth
