And in that moment, I realised something powerful: Good intention does not guarantee clear communication. In today’s marketplace of opportunity, clarity is currency. #From Survival Communication to Strategic Communication That gentleman was not unintelligent. Not unserious. Not incapable. He simply had not mastered the infrastructure of expression. And that is where many young professionals and entrepreneurs are stuck. They have: Skills Certificates Passion Big dreams But when it is time to articulate value — in interviews, boardrooms, sales conversations, investor meetings — their message gets “rounded off.” The result? The employer hesitates. The investor delays. The opportunity moves on. The Hard Truth The world does not reward effort. The world rewards clarity of value. This generation watched parents lose jobs after decades of loyalty. Now they are navigating the same uncertainty themselves. Control matters. And one of the few things you can control is how clearly you communicate who you are and what you bring to the table. You can be: Highly skilled Deeply knowledgeable Technically competent Spiritually grounded But if your story is unclear, you remain invisible.
