Hi Foodie Friends! In this week's video, I'm making a highly highly requested recipe. So many of you have asked for a cheesecake recipe, so I am showing you how I make my EASY, DELICIOUS and CREAMY No Bake Matcha Green tea Cheesecake. If you're not a fan of matcha, don't worry! You can forget the matcha and make a plain cheesecake, OR, sub out the matcha powder with cocoa powder and TA-DA! A No bake chocolate cheesecake. Top with your favourite toppings like powdered sugar, fruit or jams and spreads and it's the perfect weekend dessert. See the recipe below! INGREDIENTS: 2 cups graham cracker crumbs 2 tbsp granulated sugar 3/4 melted butter, unsalted 500g cream cheese, softened 1 cup powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 3 tbsp matcha powder 3/4 cup heavy cream Optional: powdered sugar INSTRUCTIONS: 1. In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and sugar 3. Gradually add in 3/4 cup sugar and mix until you achieve the desired consistency. The mixture should feel a little like wet sand. It should be compact when pressed together without crumbling. 4. Press the crust into a 9" tart pan or spring form pan and place in the fridge while you work on the filling 5. In a separate bowl, combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Mix with a hand mixer on low until creamy 6. To the mixture add in the matcha powder. Mix on low speed until the matcha is fully incorporated (ensure to scrape down the bowl while mixing) 7. Add in the heavy cream and mix on low speed until fully incorporated (2-3 mins) 8. Pour the cream cheese mixture into the chilled crust. Spread evenly throughout the crust 9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight 10.
