A man detonated several gren@des during a village budget meeting in Keretsky Ukraine on Friday.

At least 26 people were left wounded after Ukraine MP Serhiy Batryn detonated several grenades during a village budget meeting in Keretsky on Friday. At the meeting, which was livestreamed, Batryn called for a report going over how the 2023 budget was used before allocating money for next year. He also opposed a proposed raise and bonus to village chief Mikhail Mushka, who he has had a longstanding feud with according to local media. Despite Batryn’s objections, he was reportedly ignored by the council. After briefly stepping out of the meeting, Batryn returned with grenades and asked “May I speak?” several times. As the council continued to debate over him, he pulled the pins and dropped the grenades. Authorities are still investigating the exact motive, which remains unclear.
