In the late 90’s, Teresa, a longtime member of SAGE Federation and former board member presented to Godwin her concept for a boutique, concierge home model in a neighborhood community that was specifically designed for assisted living and memory care. Hence, Teresa’s House was born — created with a sketch and a dream, wrapped in a passion for excellence. From there, we asked a simple question: What would our parents/grandparents want? The answer was simple: A place where they could just be themselves in a home environment living life to the fullest! We know through our own experience in our own families, that choosing the right place for a loved one is a deeply personal decision. And one which has to be right the first time. Our stunning neighborhood of custom homes was created specifically to provide individualized care and unparalleled resident choice offerings. This includes a level of personal attention that is simply not feasible in larger centers. We designed Teresa’s House to be warm, inviting and personal in scale. Just like home. Only better! It was our intention, from day one, to limit the number of residents to 12-16 residents per home in our senior living communities. That allows our team to truly get to know each resident and his or her family. In addition, we’re able to plan their specific care needs and give residents a renewed sense of purpose every day. Another hallmark of Teresa’s House, are our 24/7 nurses and certified and/or degreed staff. Having a more credentialed staff makes an important distinction in the quality of care we’re able to provide for the families we have the honor of serving. Ultimately, quality and peace of mind is what you’re getting at Teresa’s House.
