I’ve recently had a chance to review the Optolong L-Pro filter (2 types) for astrophotography from my light-polluted backyard in the city. I’ll be using this filter with a Canon 5D Mk II to capture the Pleiades star cluster through a compact refractor telescope. I’ve chosen this target for the L-Pro because I want to showcase its ability to produce natural-looking images of broadband astrophotography targets from the city.
