Soprano Michelle Areyzaga and pianist Dana Brown perform “Apegado a mi” as part of an annual International Women’s Day Concert, March 8, 2022, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Oak Park, Illinois. It was produced by Working In Concert for its Bellissima Opera initiative. The concert highlights included many works created by women performed by vocalists Michelle Areyzaga, Jonita Lattimore, Christine Steyer, and Corinne Wallace-Crane accompanied by collaborative pianists Dana Brown and Jennifer McCabe. The concert featured works by local composers Lita Grier, Lena J. McLin, Patrice Michaels, and Elizabeth Rudolph.
