PAN SEARED WHITE FISH | RICHARD IN THE KITCHEN

This recipe for pan seared white fish is an easy and delicious way to prepare your seafood. A quick 20 minute healthy weeknight meal with your favorite white fish that has been deliciously marinated then pan seared until golden brown and flaky. Served with a simple lemon butter sauce and fresh veggies. Shopping List: Wild caught Alaskan Pollock, or any other white fish like cod, haddock, halibut, 1 tsp. olive oil Marinade: 1 egg 1 tsp. minced garlic 1 tsp. dried parsley 1 ½ tsp. lemon juice Salt and pepper to taste 1 tbsp. flour Lemon Butter Sauce: Dash of sugar 2 tbls. lemon juice 2 tbls. butter ¼ tsp. black pepper ¼ tsp. dried parsley Dash of salt Directions: Add the marinade ingredients to a bowl and whisk well. Add the fish and coat well. Marinate 20-30 minutes only. Any longer and the fish will start cooking from the acid in the lemon juice. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium high heat and add the fish. Cook 6-7 minutes turning occasionally until both sides are browned and the fish is opaque and flaky. Remove and keep warm. Make the sauce. Add the lemon juice to a skillet over medium high heat and bring to a boil. Add the butter and allow to it melt. Add the salt, pepper and parsley and stir until slightly thickened. Pour the sauce over the fish and serve. Enjoy!!!
