As you can see, I have finally found a way to 'Cookie-Cut' what it is I do, how I learn and how I teach. I can now open up the secrets of what I have learnt through being a polyglot, trainer and consultant to companies, governments, UN Agencies and NGO's throughout Asia over the past 20 years and bring it to the world on-demand - but I need YOUR HELP! In an effort to spend more time with my kids and loved one, after receiving email after email from clients and fans asking if I have any of my courses available online, I finally made the decision to step back from my usual hectic travel schedule, and focus on putting everything that is in me, using all my skills in technology, music, mind-skills, language and training and develop what I would consider to be some of the best E-Learning material out there for learning languages and culture. I put my money into setting up a studio and have been writing, shooting, learning to programme new technologies and editing around the clock, transforming everything I can muster from within me into E-Learning Modules. The results are going to blow your mind! Now I Have a Problem... All my time and money has been poured in to bring me thus far, I am now 85% of the way there to being able to deploy the first set of modules in Jcademy.com. I find myself now needing more cash injected so that I can finish the modules, get the technology working properly, hire servers and get Jcademy off the ground. Crowd Funding I have been introduced to a couple of investors here in Australia. They loved the modules - they were up doing the activities in their boardrooms, and they saw that my business plan was well thought out and the financials were good. When it came down to brass tacks however, they wanted to 'own' me and have full creative control over the way I teach. This was unacceptable, so I didn't take it any further. After brainstorming funding ideas with several other people in business, all roads seemed to lead back to crowd-sourcing. That is - put the project out there and have people from the public - friends, clients, fans and other people who believe in what I'm doing invest. Donate or Invest?
