Where do I even start. During my whole Obbying carreer, my ultimate dream has always been to complete a Tier 17. I started really thinking about it not so long ago, when I beat The Nightmare. My best option was by far Honor, as I liked the gameplay a lot and all-jumping it was pretty fun (except for the first truss and Last). However, realized I wasn't good enough and gave up before even grinding. This, until two days ago. I was in a call with ​⁠​⁠@ven, and he challenged me to complete an Obby in secret: the first thing I thought about was Honor, as dumb as it sounded at this time. I really didn't have faith in my capacity of eventually being able to complete it... But I tried anyway because I had nothing else to do at this time. I saw glimmers of hope yesterday, when I found a consistent strat for the first truss (which is considered to be RNG (I could land the jump 1/2 most of the time, a.k.a not so RNG) and when I found a strat/alignment that made Last somewhat manageable... I could finally see myself getting far in this... And maybe beat it within the following weeks... But I wasn't ready for what would happen next. My goal when starting the grind was to get past the Drop, which is considered to be the second hardest jump in the entire Obby (0:54). I'm pretty sure I managed to pass it once within the first hour of grinding. And then it really started. The more I played, the more consistent I was getting: exactly like how The Nightmare went. I was having fun! Two hours in, I got to the long truss which you can see at 2:00. I managed to pass it the day after, around 6h in, and miserably failed the walkaround (lol). A few moments later, I got to the 12.25 with a wall in the middle (2:51) twice in 5 minutes somehow (both attempts failed, one because I jumped too late and the other one because I jumped too early). And then, about one hour after that, the winning run happened. It was one of, if not the most unexpected thing I've ever had to witness in my whole LIFE. I know it's just a video game but still. I still DO NOT - and most likely never will - comprehend how I managed to fluke everything from that 12.25 stud (you can see it at 2:51). Yes, even Last. I DON'T UNDERSTAND. Overall, Honor is a masterpiece in my opinion. The gameplay is SO satisfying to do. The atmosphere is amazing, you don't know where you're going, you feel lost... This Obby has something special I will always like. Grinding it was fun. Beating this has probably been one of the best feeling I've ever had in my life. You know, when you dream about something for so long (3 years), an unrealistic dream that you do not even conceive to happen in the first place, but then it somehow happens. And it's taken to a whole another level considering my huge fluke. That's exactly what happened to me and I cannot describe the crazy mix of suprise and fulfillment I felt the moments after I completed it. I just couldn't believe it. It's hard to explain it with words, but you know if it happened to you before.
