Greetings All, This video is a result watching quite a few Daisy related shooting videos over the last weekend and being simply astonished at the wide variety of techniques being used by shooters to get their rifles cocked and ready to shoot. It occurred to me that their understanding of gravity feed loading systems was spotty at best, hence this modest effort to explain how a Daisy functions. The basic rule of thumb is to get the muzzle up before you manipulate the lever and let gravity fulfill it's contractual obligation's to Daisy by moving the BB's to the loading port. Once you stroke the lever give the rifle a small shake to insure the BB made it into the chamber as the airtube will block the loading port until the gun is cocked and proceed to the firing cycle. Once you get that down you'll find that your misfire rate will drop and you'll get a lot more enjoyment out of that Red Ryder! Thanks for watching!
