My Great North Run 2017 Experience | Half Marathon Road Running Race

So the weekend of September 9th and 10th my friend Gabe and I took a drive to Newcastle to participate in The Great North Run 2017 half marathon. We were both running for charity, I was running for Family Fund and Gabe for Severn Hospice and we were both looking forward to the event. Even more so as Mo Farah was competing in the same race! The Great North Run is a fantastic event, probably the worlds most loved half marathon so I was super excited to be taking part and was pushing for a PB. So i took my iPhone 7 and GoPro Hero 5 sessions to film the weekend and make this video. I hope anyone watching this who has run the half marathon will be reminding of how great it was, but also anyone wanted to know what the event is like will get a good idea should you wish to compete. I was happy with a new PB beating my old time by over 16mins and will definitely be returning for the 2018 event.
