FULL THROTTLE TAKEOFF! TUI Boeing 737-8K5 (WB) Zaknythos, Greece to Birmigham

Zakynthos to Birmigham on TOM7249 on the 8th July, tail number G-TAWB. Unfortunately, off to an upsetting start when I made the TUI staff (who was dutch) aware of my assistance needs, to which he told me I look fine because I didn't need a wheelchair thus making my hidden disability seem unimportant. Additionally, a friend of mine who was on the same flight was asked weather she needed assistance as she was older, there was no other reason to it than that. I should disclaim, the guy apologied profusely and said that English wasn't his first language so was unsure as to how to deal with the situation but it still made me angry that it all happened in the first place. I was also reasonably disappointed with the facilities the airport had to offer, there was virtually nothing landside and only a Pret, and some small bakeries airside. Not particularly impressed with Zante Airport. Once onboard, we sat on the ground for around 45 minutes due to a queue of aircraft waiting to be pushed back as Zante can only accommodate one moving aircraft at a time with 8 parking stands. We were then informed that in order to takeoff earlier we had been rerouted over Switzerland and Belguim due to France ATC Strikes meaning our flight time was pushing 4 hours. Once finally on the move some absoloutley breathtaking views of Zante and Kefalonia during the takeoff. At 36,000ft we encountered some turbulence as a result of some pretty high storm clouds so the seatbelt signs were turned back on over the Adriatic Sea. Our longer routing then took us over Innsbruck, then into Germany over Stutgart and Freiburg, Clipping Luxembourg and into Belguim over Liege and Brussels before crossing the English Channel and into the UK over Clacton-on-sea, and directly over London giving us some great views of the River Thames before making a right turn to join the approach path into Birmigham landing around 30 minutes behind schedule. A nice flight chasing the sun all the way back to Birmingham and a great way to round of another TUI holiday.
