Sewing the Popover Dress...from a second hand bed sheet! | Sewing for a large body

I have been wanting to sew the Popover Dress for several years, ever since Gertie published her book on sewing Jiffy dresses. I also wanted to make it a sustainable make, so I decided to use a bed sheet (or duvet cover, as it is also called) from a second hand store close to me. And don't worry! I did wash it first! But also, second hand stores here in Sweden will not accept anything that isn't properly washed, so I did not expect it to be dirty. But I still washed it. Anyway - did it turn out the way I wanted it too? When sewing for a large body, the question of whether or not it will fit properly most certainly arises A LOT, and this time was no exception.
