I Crashed, fixed It.. Then Flew to the Edge of the Frozen Sea

After a recent crash my Dji O4 pro camera stopped focusing — the lens had actually come loose from the sensor. I opened the air unit, fixed it, and went out for a quick test fligh. The day didn’t go as planned. Since I didn’t fully trust the repair yet, I brought my backup drone (DJI Avata 2). The idea was just a short range test — until I noticed how far the ice stretched over the frozen sea. I decided to send it out toward the horizon. First attempt: stopped at 1500 meters. Luckily I had one battery left. On the second flight I finally reached the edge of the ice, right at sunset — where the solid ice suddenly turns into open ocean water. This turned into one of my favorite FPV flights in Finland so far.
