Taken: May 07, 2021 Rolling Stock: Bombardier = ALP-45DP 4507 w/ its Unrestricted Raised Letter K5LA, Multilevel Coaches and Cab Car Well, guys, I decided to take a trip all the way to High Bridge because the last time I took a trip on this line, I exited the train at Raritan (my Train #5737 video from 3 years ago) since there were no more trains out of High Bridge at that time. Since my campus has free parking, the fact that I had to return my books from the semester, and the fact that I still had 3 year old tickets that I purchased for a botched trip, I decided to start my trip from Union as opposed to Raritan. Since I did not make it to High Bridge in my Train #5737 video, I decided to take the time to get to Union early so I can finish the trip early and see all of the stations on this line. I could've driven up to Raritan and finished the video from there, but I didn't feel like spending gas money as well as paying for a parking permit. Besides, I still had old tickets that needed to be redeemed, so I did that. I also started the video at Raritan since: 1. That was where I had stopped the initial video and 2. I did not want to waste space since I wanted to film the return to Raritan from High Bridge. I'm just glad that after Raritan, I decided to record near the door as opposed to the windows since the windows were very grimy, unlike the door's glass, which was pristine. As we progressed west of Raritan, you can see that the land becomes very rural and somewhat desolate, especially when you consider the dilapidated nature of the stations. Furthermore, the five remaining stations on the line are spread out even further from one another, somewhat reminiscent of the Port Jervis line with the locations of the stations west of Suffern. Nonetheless, it was interesting since it was my first time past Raritan Station as well as truly experiencing the vast differences among each city/town throughout the entire line (well, almost the entire line, since I did not start at Newark). With that being said, I have said plenty, so I will leave it at that. If you guys have any suggestions, drop them in the comments section below. Furthermore, if you guys enjoyed the video, feel free to drop a like, comment, subscribe, and share the video with everyone you know! :D
