The mission of Smoke & Barrel Inc is to provide quality entertainment for the enrichment of the community, while raising funding for worthy charities. Smoke & Barrel is the fall event in our annual lineup and is in its sixth year. Smoke & Barrel is a celebration of fine bourbon, BBQ, and whiskey. This is the premiere spirits tasting event of the year in SWLA featuring an expanded list featuring north of a 100 different bourbons, whiskeys, and scotches to sample alongside BBQ from some of the most talented pitmasters around! We strive to produce quality events that showcase our community, enhances quality of life, and encourages tourism to Southwest Louisiana. Saturday’s grand tasting is complimented by an extended weekend line-up of bourbon-centric dinners, mixology competitions, an after-party, ending with a themed brunch to seal the weekend experience! Born from a passion for fine bourbon and exceptional barbecue between two friends, this year’s event line-up in particular promises an expanded list of spirit labels and brands as the event heads north of 100+ labels. In addition to many returning food vendors traveling from all over South Louisiana and Southeast Texas, attendees can count on a few new, unique vendors making their debut. BBQ enthusiasts would have to travel many hours to enjoy some of these spots, several of which have been featured in Texas Monthly’s Top 50 BBQ Joints. This combination of offerings with SWLA’s cultural influence on top of discounted room rates provided by Golden Nugget Lake Charles promises to draw a large portion of its ticketholders from Texas and further markets to our region for the weekend. Smoke & Barrel’s Marketing Plan will use funding for Facebook and Google Ads to increase brand awareness and drive ticket sales for Smoke & Barrel through a comprehensive and aggressive marketing strategy targeting Texas markets, leveraging the region's passion for barbecue and bourbon. Capitalize on the loyal and enthusiastic audience in Texas who have a strong cultural affinity for good barbecue and bourbon. Tailoring a percentage of marketing efforts to resonate with local preferences and traditional periodicals, emphasizing the authenticity and quality of Smoke & Barrel's offerings.
