Exclusive tour of Heart Aerospace's electric airplane

Heart Aerospace has just revealed its X1 demonstrator aircraft, and we're among the first to see it in person. Come along as we tour the aircraft inside and out and hear from some of the people working to make eco-friendly regional flight a reality. When it flies (expected mid-2025) the X1 it will be the heaviest electric vehicle to have ever taken to the air. And that's because this electric demonstrator, the predecessor to the eventual ES-30 hybrid-electric regional airlines, is designed to move up to 30 passengers on regional flights with zero emissions. It's a potential revolution for short-haul air travel and for the aviation industry in general as it seeks to meet climate targets and decarbonize as quickly as possible. There are many challenges still ahead to overcome and we'll be watching progress closely in the coming months, but this aircraft represents a significant step forward nonetheless.
