Lasciati Areni e il Vayots Dzor, entro nella regione dell’Ararat, il luogo dove, secondo il racconto biblico della Genesi, si posò l’Arca di Noè dopo il diluvio! L’itinerario tocca dunque tre luoghi simbolo della nazione armena, tutti a poca distanza dalla capitale, Yerevan! Tocchiamo così il monastero di Khor Virap, o “profonda prigione”, dove sembra toccare con mano il sacro monte, il monastero di Geghard, o “della lancia”, che nasconde una sorgente di acqua miracolosa, ed infine il tempio pagano di Garni, rimontato secoli dopo un disastroso terremoto, ed oggi in ottimo stato. Ma, soprattutto, mi faranno compagnia due cari amici che avete già conosciuto nei miei video precedenti. Siete pronti per partire insieme anche stavolta?! Leaving Areni and the Vayots Dzor, I enter the Ararat region, the place where, according to the biblical story of Genesis, Noah's Ark landed after the flood! The itinerary thus touches three symbolic places of the Armenian nation, all a short distance from the capital, Yerevan! We thus pass the monastery of Khor Virap, or "deep prison," where you can almost touch the sacred mountain; the monastery of Geghard, or "of the spear," which hides a spring of miraculous water; and finally the pagan temple of Garni, rebuilt centuries after a disastrous earthquake and today in excellent condition.
