A group of physicians from the United States, along with a virtual production team from Canada, toured FTV’s state-of-the-art headquarters. They explored our high-tech virtual studio, got a behind-the-scenes look at the bustling news studio, and even stepped onto the sets of FTV’s most popular soap operas. A helicopter lands right at FTV. Visitors from the US and Canada couldn’t keep their eyes off the spectacular scenes taking place in front of them at FTV’s virtual studio. Formosa New anchor Ken-ji Lee took the group on a tour of the facilities, taking care of the visitors as they learnt the latest about TV technology, to pave the way for future collaboration opportunities. Kevin Walter Fluxx Virtual Production CEO We’ve been here working on the stage. We’re from Canada. We’re doing some testing and research and development with the Taiwanese team. Norman Wang Glassbox CEO We want to try out facilities here to develop and verify the possibilities of new technologies. The next goal after that would be to come here to do some actual filming. Dorothy Wang FTV President Welcome you to come and maybe later on we have some chance to work together. So just don’t hesitate to let us know. At the news studio, Stephany Yang showed the group the ins and outs of news reporting and let them step behind the anchor’s desk. They were also amazed by Taiwan’s first AI news anchor. In the control room, they got a close look at the production process behind every news program. Of course a visit wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the set of FTV’s prime-time soap operas. Some of the doctors in the group had grown up in Taiwan and brought their colleagues on a visit, making their stop at FTV into a cultural exchange. Doctor Visiting from the US To see the VR screen and the technology that has been developed at FTV is very impressive. Doctor Visiting from the US It’s a privilege to come to this special presentation. I’m very impressed. Doctor Visiting from the US I came here and everyone is so nice and friendly and showing us around the studios and here the VR screen and everything. It’s just really amazing. The TV station visit left a strong impression on both the US and Canadian groups, creating closer ties with FTV.
