Seattle's Best Tacos and Taquerias - 5 Must-Try Taquerias! (Yummy! Cheap Eats!!)

In this video, me and Kat went on a taco food tour of Seattle's Best Tacos and Taquerias, including 5 must-try Seattle area taquerias. These taquerias included both taco trucks and brick and mortar restaurants, serving a variety of yummy cheap eats (including tacos and Mexican snacks, drinks and desserts). During this taco food tour, we ate a variety of types of tacos including: keto and birria tacos with consome from Birrieria Tijuana (Burien); fish, shrimp and vampiro tacos from Corazon Azteca (Kirkland); carnitas (braised pork), lengua (beef tongue), and pastor (pork) tacos from Carnitas Michoacan (Seattle); adobada (spicy pork), carnitas, cabeza (beef head) and lengua tacos from Taqueria La Fondita #2 (White Center); and cabeza, lengua, borrego (lamb) and grilled shrimp and mushroom tacos from La Chingona Taqueria (Bellevue). We also tried some delicious drinks and desserts from these restaurants, including: churro sundae and cucumber and cilantro agua fresca from Birrieria Tijuna (Burien); hibiscus agua fresca (aka jamaica) and horchata from Carnitas Michoacan; mangoneada, fruit cocktail, and Mexican corn from Best Roasted Corn Stand (nextdoor to Taqueria La Fondita #2); and fresh mango drink from La Chingona Taqueria. In the video, we included the approximate prices for some of the items we ate. Please note those prices were as of July 2021 and have likely changed (increased) since the recording of this video. Taqueria La Fondita (Taco Truck) in the heart of White Center, about 8 miles SW of downtown Seattle. This taco truck is popular because it serves cheap, but delicious, cabeza, lengua, adobada, and carnitas tacos. Address: 9811 15th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98106 Best Roasted Corn Stand (Food Trailer) is located right next door to Taqueria La Fondita. They serve several types of Mexican Corn, Fruit cups, Mangoneada, and other Mexican Snacks. Cash Only. Address: 9811 15th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98106 2. Carnitas Michoacan is located in the North Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle, about 3 miles South of downtown Seattle. This restaurant features handmade soft tortillas and braised Carnitas. Address: 2503 Beacon Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144 3. Corazon Azteca (Taco Truck) is located in Kirkland about 1 mile East of the Kirkland Costco, and about 14 miles from downtown Seattle. They serve great looking tacos with lots of fresh ingredients and amazing sauces. Popular items include battered Fish and Shrimp tacos (baja style tacos), Vampiro Tostada, and Coconut Horchata. One of the reviews I read said that this food truck closes for the winter, so please call ahead if visiting during the winter to see if this food truck is open. Address: 12840 NE 85th St, Kirkland, WA 98033 4. Birrieria Tijuana is located in Burien and is about 10 miles SW of downtown Seattle. Birrieria Tijuana has 3 locations and the Burien location is the closest to Seattle. This restaurant became popular on TikTok and Instagram for their Birria Cheese Tacos that can be dipped and eaten with their consome (beef broth with shredded Birria meat). This restaurant also serves freshly made Churro Sundaes, Mangoneada, Agua Frescas, and other drinks. Address: 1111 SW 128th St, Burien, WA 98146 5. La Chingona Taqueria (Taco Truck) is located in Bellevue about 13 miles from downtown Seattle. They have a huge variety of Taco options with about 16 different meat options, including Cabeza (head), Lengua (tongue), and Borrego (lamb). Popular tacos include Fish (Baja style) and grilled Shrimp. The mango drink tastes fresh and delicious.
