Looking for great music, amazing food, and jamming entertainment? Head to Nashville, Tennessee - America's Music City! We explore some of the most iconic spots in the city and how you can make the most out of your experience in the Music City. Our first stop is Centennial Park and the Parthenon, which is the best place to see some of city skyline. Yes, you read correctly that Nashville has a full-scale replica of the Parthenon from Ancient Athens, Greece. You will be blown away when you see the statue of Athena inside. There is so much good food in Nashville, but we went to Martins for BBQ and Prince’s Hot Chicken, which are some of the most iconic restaurants in the city. You can't go wrong with a good southern BBQ and Nashville's famous Hot Chicken. For those people that love spicy, hot food, Prince’s Hot Chicken is the place for you. As the founder of Nashville Hot Chicken, Prince's has to be on your list especially if you are someone who loves spicy food! You cannot go far in Nashville without hearing country music come alive throughout the streets. The best places to listen to live music is Broadway, the Ryman Auditorium, and the Grand Ole Opry. If you are more interested in the history and culture of country music, the Country Music Hall of Fame is spot for you. You will definitely get into the Music City spirit while you walk through the hallowed halls of the Hall of Fame. A little over an hour south of Nashville in Lynchburg is Jack Daniels Distillery and it is a must do for whiskey drinkers. The facility has a museum and gift store, but the factory tour is the biggest highlight. We checked out the Flight of Jack Daniel’s tour, which includes a whiskey tasting highlighting some of their most famous whiskies. Drinking or whiskey not your style? They offer several tour options so there is something for everyone. The Nashville Farmers’ Market is located right next to the Bicentennial Capital Mall State Park. Its a daily market features indoor and outdoor vendors so its well worth the visit. If you are looking for something a little more sweet and unique, head downtown to GooGoo Chocolates. They are famous for their chocolate clusters - in fact they are the original combination candymakers - and you can design your own cluster as part of the experience.
