Специальная сессия, посвящённая изучению биологических обрастателей, прошла 30 октября 2020 года в ходе онлайн-конференции Морские Исследования и Образование (MARESEDU-2020). Сессия освещала актуальные проблемы и подходы к изучению биологических обрастаний с особым фокусом на обрастания за пределами физических глубин. The session addressed the state of knowledge, and approaches for observational and experimental studies on biofouling with a focus on biofouling beneath the photic depths of the Ocean. The speakers of the session were Dr Sergey Dobretsov (UNESCO Chair in Marine Biotechnology, President of European Society for Marine Biotechnology, Director of Centre of Excellence in Marine Biotechnology, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman), Dr Kirstin Meyer-Kaiser (Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution), Alexandra Chava (IO RAS), Petra Harsanyi (St Abbs Marine Station, Scotland) and Dr Sergej Olenin (Marine Research Institute, Klaipeda University).
