The woman behind the counter was flustered af. They were short-handed and the orders had piled up before I got there. When I went to the counter to order, she looked at me and said "The wait will be one hour. You can have a seat if you want". The wait was more like 15 minutes. I could tell she was feeling overwhelmed but I chose to sit down and wait patiently. People were getting upset. One guy called her a bitch. In his defense, she was aggravated. Still, that was uncalled for. I understood her plight, though. I've been there. When it became time for me to order, I told her that she was an absolute machine and that she handled those orders like a boss. Her expression changed from a concerned look to that of just sheer relief. She smiled and happily took my order. While waiting for my order, and when she had a moment, I asked her if the fudge brownies that were left over from the night before were on sale. She said "no...but I'm going to give them to you for free because you waited and you were so nice to me". I just took one and I thanked her :) BOOM!!! SUCK IT OTHER CUSTOMERS. WINNER IS ME. I am eating the absolute crap out of this brownie right now. Gym session WASTED but soooo worth it :p. Moral of the story, be patient. Be nice. We don't know the struggles of another person and sometimes just understanding and being kind can get you free fuggin brownies! #seikosamurai #seiko #sppb51
