(thumbnail changed because I felt the previous one was too mean to the game) had this video sitting around on a flash drive for a while and finally got around to uploading it. feel free to ask about any strats in the comments! or message me on Discord! these were all done separately, not consecutively; i'm nowhere near good enough to do them consecutively lol From what I remember, Kolobok, Acridoidea, Matouschka, Melkor, Tsuchigomo, Steropes, and Palladion were on the easier end out of these 12 bosses, while Libelle, Papa Carlo, Ophan, and Domus were on the harder end. Angrenost is somewhere in the middle. The airship boss (idr the exact name) is really really hard for this challenge and I don't plan on doing it soon, if ever. I'd like to give a shoutout to Domus; I enjoyed that fight a lot because there's no RNG outside of the revenge bullets, so it's extremely routable, but the routing is VERY demanding. I kinda wish Most of the bosses in boss practice are a fair bit easier than in actual runs, since rank starts at the minimum value in boss practice. Keeping rank low as long as possible is absolutely essential on some bosses. As rank goes up, patterns get harder, enemies and bosses get more HP (i think), and you get less time when you destroy enemies. Some attacks are absurd at max rank, and some bosses at max rank simply do not give you enough time to not gameover under these challenge conditions. Fortunately, it turns out that the rate at which rank increases is partly dependent on your power level. That's why I did a lot of boss fights as the 5 or 7 power Liberator aircraft; at 5 power, it has good forward damage, and at 7 power, it has good forward damage plus a bit of range. I generally only used 5 power when it was absolutely necessary for rank management. When a fight drags on long enough that I'd spend most of it at high rank, and rank management isn't a high priority, I used the Soprano at max power. Its forward damage is quite good at that power level.
