LONGi Speaks About Hi-MO 9 & Hi-MO X10 To TaiyangNews At SNEC 2025

At SNEC 2025 in Shanghai, TaiyangNews’ Head of Technology, Shravan Chunduri, visited the booth of global solar leader LONGi to learn more about its latest back-contact cell technologies. The key highlight was LONGi's new product offerings - Hi-MO 9 and Hi-MO X10 - each designed for high performance across different applications and scenarios. The Hi-MO 9 series features LONGi’s second-generation HPBC (Hybrid Passivated Back Contact) cell technology and boasts a power output of up to 670 W and module efficiency up to 24.8%, along with an aesthetically clean front side, with no visible busbars. Built on LONGi’s HIBC technology, the module recently achieved a world-record efficiency of 27.8% in lab conditions. Now being mass-produced, these modules deliver up to 700 W output and 259 W/m² power density - roughly 10% more than traditional TOPCon modules.
