This was supposed to be a calm and relaxing solo camping trip in the Danish forest... but nature clearly had other ideas. It’s only my second time sleeping alone in a tent, and I had hoped for peace, stillness, and maybe a good night’s sleep. Instead, I ended up battling endless mosquitoes, moving my tent three times, and learning (the hard way) that solo camping isn’t always as simple as it looks. I also tried the 1-2-3 camping rule for the first time — did it help? Well… kind of.
