Easy Method To Make Dynamic Charts - Format Data Source As A Table (No OFFSET Needed)

This method does not require the use of the OFFSET function to make dynamic ranges. Instead, we format our data source as a table which in turn makes the ranges used by our chart dynamic. This can be achieved by selecting the table array and clicking format as table within the insert tab. This method is therefore, much simpler and less time-consuming than the OFFSET method. However, it also presents several shortcomings. Firstly, you may not want to format the data source as a table and may instead want to use your own formatting style. Secondly, while this method works well with vertical data sources, it works less effectively with horizontal data sources. To overcome these disadvantages, we can use the OFFSET function to make our charts dynamic (see below).
